High Moon Studios is kicking off the launch of their latest DLC pack for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Dinobot Destructor Pack, with a new trailer showing off the added content. In addition to the latest release, which includes Grimlock, Slug, Snarl, and Swoop for multiplayer and parts for character creation, the Multiplayer Havoc Pack, detailed below, is already available. The last of the packs, Massive Fury Pack, also detailed below, will be out on September 25 and is set to add even more characters and items for multiplayer and parts for character creation.
Capcom has revealed some of their upcoming plans to expand Resident Evil 6’s post-launch lifecycle with day-one and post-launch multiplayer-centric downloadable content. Three packs were announced as launching alongside the game on October 2: Predator Mode, Siege Mode, and Survivors Mode. Further drops will include new items and new maps for Mercenaries as well as all of the new modes.
Atlus has already released a video showing co-op play from their upcoming 3DS side-scrolling brawler Code of Princess, and today, they are following up with some versus footage. As with the game it harkens back to, the fantastic Guardian Heroes, the action is spiced with light role-playing elements to give the kicks to the face a bit more flair.
EA has released Battlefield 3 Premium Edition, a new all-in-one version of Dice’s popular action title. The $59.99 shooter includes the game, all current and upcoming DLC (in the form of Premium Membership), such as the new Armored Kill pack with its six new vehicles and new Tank Superiority mode, and the Multiplayer Head-Start Kit.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2, featuring none other than Snoop Dogg (?), has hit store shelves for 360 and PS3. The follow-up to the 2000 original sports the series’ largest roster to date, as well as a host of new features, such as the Fight Lab for learning the basics and more advanced combos, Pair Play for four-player action, and the ability to play solo against a single opponent or a tag team. Online play has also been augmented by the World Tekken Federation, a free service that tracks players’ stats and analyzes performance.
11 bit studios’ tower-offense title Anomaly Warzone Earth has launched on PSN. The $9.99 download-only release pits players against labyrinthine gauntlets of alien defenses as they guide a caravan to safety as a grizzled commander, who happens to be capable of calling down air strikes, smokescreens, decoys, and repair fields. The PS3 version also includes an exclusive co-op multiplayer mode.
The ghosts are going back in today with the launch of the Raven Strike DLC pack for the 360 and PS3 versions of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Described as “a throwback to traditional Ghost Recon gameplay,” Raven Strike includes larger maps that play host to three new harder, more complex campaign missions, as well as a new map for Guerrilla Mode and a +10 level-cap increase.
