The Robomodo-updated version of Neversoft’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, has launched on PSN. Already available on Live Arcade, and hitting Steam for PC next month, THPS HD includes seven levels, eight skaters, four online multiplayer modes, new objectives, and Facebook integration to share scores.
Looking to take browser-based gaming to the next level, Square Enix has revealed their new CoreOnline technology service. According to SE, the Hapti.co studio-developed tech “allows users to easily play popular, console quality games on the web.” The company went on to state that the service allows players to instantly start a game at any point, and is compatible with Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.

The updates have been slower over the past few days due to the increased need to prepare, and with Hurricane Isaac knocking on our doors, we figured that now is the time to give it our undivided attention.
