One is rarely ever certain that they want to dive feet first into an undercover investigation focusing on the Hong Kong Triad. Fortunately, Square Enix has released a demo for their open-world action title/undercover cop drama Sleeping Dogs to entice the leery. The demo, available for consoles and PC, offers players the chance to get some hands-on time with Officer Wei and try out the melee combat system as he pursues rival gang members through a busy market and over rooftops. There’s also a peak at a later level where players get to try the shooting mechanics as he blasts his way out of a warehouse.
Sleeping Dogs was developed by United Front Games in collaboration with Square Enix London Studios and is currently on store shelves and at digital outlets.
