R.U.S.E. developer Eugen System’s latest real-time strategy title, Wargame: European Escalation, will be getting a sequel next year: Wargame: AirLand Battle. Set between 1975 and 1985, players will be battling throughout Northern Europe in a dynamic single-player campaign during the Cold War.
The teaser released today shows some of the new features that AirLand will bring to the series, including a new version of the IrisZoom Engine, new weapons system, new Urban Combat interface, four new nations, and 150 new planes. With the content from European Escalation, that brings the total up to 12 nations and over 750 vehicles and units.
Gamescom 2012 attendees will get a chance to see AirLand Battle for themselves at the Focus Home booth (Hall 4.2, Stand I-050a) and at the Koch media booth (Hall 7.1, stand B051 – B041).
