Capcom has announced that they will be releasing a new demo for their fantastic action-RPG Dragon’s Dogma next week. The demo, exclusive to PS3, will allow players to utilize the character-customization system to create their own hero, and then take them character through the game’s Prologue, which ends with a battle against a nasty Hydra. Characters created for the demo will also be importable to the full version.

Current players will also want to take note that a title update has added a new Easy Mode for both the 360 and PS3 versions. In addition, from today until August 9, players can submit in-game screenshots taken using the photo-sharing feature for a chance to compete in one of three categories—The Fariest Maidens, The Most Dashing Gentlemen, and The Most Unique Myrmidons—with winners having their pawns showcased in the Rift’s Special Spawn area. Shots can be submitted here: http://game.capcom.co.jp/DD/en/top/.
