Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots now sporting trophy support

As if you needed another reason to take Liquid Ocelot down a peg, trophies have been added to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The 34 digital lures will be automatically added after logging into PSN. Players can look forward to being rewarded for such activities as finding Easter Eggs, viewing all model posters, going through the game multiple times, and getting a little too familiar during the final battle.

Sound Shapes available on PSN for PS3, PS Vita

Queasy Games’ rhythm-based platformer Sound Shapes has launched for PS3 and PS Vita. The $14.99 release includes a single-player campaign comprised of five records and 20-plus environments, with gameplay combining traditional platforming with rhythm action, as well as an editor mode that allows for players to create and share custom levels.

Metal Gear Solid HD line heading to Live Games on Demand, PSN

The HD versions of the Metal Gear Solid series will be available at digital outlets soon, via Live Games on Demand for 360 and PSN for PS3 and PS Vita. Konami has announced the launch dates for all included titles: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer trailer released

Activision has released a new multiplayer reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Treyarch’s next entry in the franchise will be set in the year 2025 as the world lumbers towards a new Cold War. It’s a world of robots, drones, and high-tech gear. Black Ops II will also feature a branching storyline with non-linear missions, a first for the series.
