It’s time to roll out, Transformer fans. Activision has launched a demo for High Moon Studios’ upcoming third-person shooter, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. The 360, PS3 demo features single- and multiplayer modes, with players able to take on the first mission as Bumblebee, try an assault mission as Vortex, and tinker with the character-customization system before jumping online for some Team Deathmatch and Conquest.

High Moon will also be monitoring multiplayer feedback in order to better balance the game before launch, and they encourage players to direct tweets of their thoughts to the game’s official account (@FallofCybertron).

Set to hit retail for 360, PC, and PS3 on August 21, Fall of Cybertron will follow the end of the ‘bots home world as the Autobots and Decepticons battle to the bitter end.
