New trailer shows off some of Dishonored’s daring escapes
Bethesda has released some new footage from Arkane Studios’ upcoming first-person shooter, Dishonored. Titled ‘Daring Escapes,’ the clip covers three of the more supernatural methods that players have to escape pursuing enemies: Blink, Bend Time, and Possession.

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission gets free episodic prequel, Recruits
A new promotion has launched for Rising Star Games and Bohemia Interactive’s upcoming action-strategy title, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. Beginning today, players can try their hand at the first of four mini-games from Command: Recruits, an episodic series that serves as a prelude to Carrier Command. Set shortly before the events in Gaea Mission, Recruits features an overarching storyline that reveals more of the Carrier Command universe as players solve puzzles as an UEC Technical Analyst. The first episode, Head Hunting, details the UEC’s recruiting program.

Total War: Shogun 2 gets new Saints and Heroes Elite Unit Pack DLC
Nine new elite units have been released for Shogun 2 in the Saints and Heroes pack. The hero units each bring with them their own highly trained squad. Included are Hanzo’s Shadows; Tadakatsu’s war-club-toting Tetsubo Warriors; Seigen’s nadochi-weilding Swordmasters; Tokitaka’s Tanegashima rifle marksmen; Gozen’s Hime Heroines and their naginatas; Benkei’s Blades and their long naginatas; Yoritomo’s sniping Yabusme Cavalry; and Kiyomasa’s heavy Katana Cavalry. The pack is available for $3.25.

Visceral Games shows off Dead Space 3 co-op play in new screens
Dead Space 3 will bring more to the series than just an increasingly tired Isaac. As earlier announced, the third entry will add drop-in/drop-op co-op play that will allow friends to join in on the Necromorph gutting as Sergeant John Carver. Today, a new batch of screenshots was released showing more of the duo in action, with Carver sporting a fetching red and black panoply.
