NIS has released the first round of screenshots from the English version of their upcoming PS3 action-RPG Mugen Souls. The North American and European versions will undergo some alterations before release, but the game’s core design, centered around unit customization and turn-based combat set on free-roaming battle maps, will remain.
Players will be able to explore seven different worlds, searching for loot and battling the various monsters roaming about. Characters will have special attacks and combos at their disposals, including one attack that can turn their bested foes into servants. More specifically, the Moe Kill technique will “enslave enemies and turn them into items by exploiting their weaknesses.” Dastardly!
