Marvel vs. Capcom Origins to bring early Versus action to 360, PS3
The Versus series has had something of a renaissance over the past few years, with Marvel vs. Capcom 2 making its way onto Live Arcade and PSN, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars bringing some over-the-top action to the Wii, and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 seeing two releases within nine months of one another. There’s even an iOS version coming out soon for 2. But Capcom is returning to the series’ roots this summer with the download-only two-game set Marvel vs. Capcom Origins.

Divine Divinity gets gussied up with enhanced Steam re-release
Larian Studios’ ten-year-old action-RPG Divine Divinity has launched on Steam. Although already available on GOG.com, the Steam release is an updated version that offers support for Windows 7 and higher resolutions. As a warrior, mage, or ranger, players must set off on a quest as the Chosen One to unite the seven races of Rivellon (cue dramatic music).

Heroes of Ruin demo brings RPG action to Nintendo eShop
A new demo has launched on the Nintendo eShop for Square Enix’s upcoming 3DS action-RPG Heroes of Ruin. The trial allows players to create a character from two of the game’s four classes, the sword-wielding Vindicator and firearm-toting Gunslinger, and explore the Elder Forest. The forest hosts several side quests and a boss battle against the spirit known as Michadele, all which can be played through solo or with friends via local and global multiplayer.

Nights into Dreams getting HD re-release treatment this fall
As a card-carrying member of the Sega Saturn fan club, I just got done high-fiving the other member at the news that Sega will be releasing a download-only HD update of the original Nights into Dreams this fall for 360, PC, and PS3.
