Ubisoft has announced a Limited Edition premium version of Assassin’s Creed III for 360 and PS3, as well as a Digital Deluxe Edition for PC. The console LE will retail for $119.99, and the PC DDE for $64.99.
The console LE includes the game, a 9.44″ Conner statue, 28″x48″ embroidered themed colonial flag, and a 3″x3.25″ metal built buckle. The PC version includes the game, a soundtrack comprised of selections from throughout the series, Sharpshooter and Redcoat multiplayer characters, Washington’s notebook detailing his part in the American Revolution, three single-player missions focused around Captain Kidd’s treasure, and two outfits (Captain of the Aquila uniform and traditional Colonial Assassin outfit) along with boarding axe and flintlock for use in single player.
Both versions, along with the standard release, are set to hit store shelves on October 30.
Set against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, Assassin’s Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratonhnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage. Adopting the name Connor, he becomes the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars. Gamers will become an Assassin in the war for liberty against ruthless tyranny, in the most stylized and fluid combat experiences in the franchise to date.
