NIS America’s upcoming multiplayer-centric three-fighter brawler Clan of Champions will be hitting Steam later this year. Although previously announced for the 360, the Acquire Corp.-developed title will instead be a PC- and PS3-only release, with the PS3 version slated to come out later this summer.
Clan of Champions features elf, human, and orc combatants battling it out in single-player and multiplayer modes. Solo players will have missions to tackle, while up to three friends will be able to team up to take on other three-player teams. Players will be able to customize their fighter’s appearance and stats, as well as specialize with particular weapons. For those who find the green-eyed monster coming out after spying a nice piece of kit, rivals can be stripped of their gear mid-battle for that extra bit of loot (and touch of humiliation).
