Amaterasu returns this fall in Okami HD for PS3
Capcom will be bringing the Okami series back this fall with an updated re-release of the original for the PlayStation 3. Titled Okami HD, the $19.99 download-only action-adventure will sport enhanced visuals and support for PS Move. As the mystical Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu, players must guide her wolf form along on a quest to recolor the world after a monster turns the land into a waste.

Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time gets new screens, July release date
Atlus has sent along some new screenshots from their upcoming strategy-RPG Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time. Along with the new shots, the wily publisher also announced that the fourth entry in the series will be available for the PSP on July 31 in stores and through PSN.

Doom 3 BFG Edition release date, price announced
The upcoming re-release of id Software’s 2004 first-person shooter Doom 3, the BFG Edition, will be hitting store shelves on October 16. The set will include updated versions of the original game and its Resurrection of Evil expansion, plus a new seven-level chapter called The Lost Missions. All Doom 3-related content will support trophies/achievements, 3D, and 5.1 surround sound. And as an added bonus, id is also tossing in both Doom and Doom II.
