Ironclad Games’ 2008 hybrid RT4X—real-time, 4X strategy game—Sins of a Solar Empire received a new standalone expansion today, Rebellion. After years of war, the Trader Emergency Coalition, Vasari Empire, and Advent Unity have succumbed to the stress of their galaxy-spanning campaigns and fractured into loyalist and rebel factions. Players will be able to take control of one of these six subfactions as they research new technologies, forge new alliances, and construct new ships, including the monstrous Titan class.

Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion runs under Windows Vista (SP 2) / 7 (SP 1) / 8, and can be purchased directly from the official site or from a variety of digital outlets, such as Steam and GameFly.
