The troops are about to start pounding the pavement again with the announcement that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has gone gold for 360 and PS3. Players will lead an elite team of special ops troops around the world as they chase down the world’s baddest with all sorts of high-tech weaponry. Future Soldier will not only support heavy weapon customization but also the Ghost Recon Network, a franchise-spanning app that will keep players abreast about what their friends are up to and what new user-tweaked guns have hit the (virtual) market.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is scheduled to hit store shelves on May 22 for 360 and PS3, with a PC version slated for release on June 12.
