After years of wandering, Geralt has finally made it to the land of the consoles with the release of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for the 360. The CD Projekt Red-developed action-RPG, released last year for the PC, is an epic adventure filled with heavy world interaction, battles with giant krakens and mercenaries, and branching progression paths. The console version comes with a quest handbook, world map, and soundtrack for $59.99, while PC gamers will be able to download all of the new content, which includes about four hours of additional gameplay and 35 minutes of new cinematics, in the free Enhanced Edition update.

Defining new standards for realistic, non-linear game narration, The Witcher 2 delivers a mature, thought-provoking story to produce a matchless RPG experience. The deep story of Geralt of Rivia draws players into a lively game world filled with politics and intrigue. All player decisions have consequences, whether good or bad, and each has an obvious impact on future events in the world. In addition to the epic story, the game features a complex combat system that uniquely combines dynamic action with tactical depth.
