Detailed back in February, Capcom has announced that the demo for Dragon’s Dogma, their upcoming open-world action-RPG, will be available on Live and PSN on April 24. The demo will include a party of three Pawns tackling two encounters, each of which will serve to highlight the skills of a particular character class.
As a Fighter, players will make their way through an underground labyrinth to square off against the Chimerain in a prologue quest. As a Strider, players will use bows and daggers to fell the Griffin that stalks the plains around the capital of Gransys. For those who feel particularly inspired and become attached to their created character, both the main character and a Pawn ally can be imported into the retail version.
Dragon’s Dogma will be available on May 22 for the 360 and PS3.
