I Am Alive, Ubisoft’s latest post-apocalyptic action-adventure title, has launched on PSN. Released last month for the 360, I Am Alive follows a lone survivor of the Event as he crosses a desolate, toxic waste in search of his wife and daughter. Players must scale buildings, horde their goods, and face off against fellow survivors.
Square Enix has announced that their upcoming 3DS action role-playing game Heroes of Ruin will be hitting store shelves on June 26. Built from the ground up for the 3DS, Heroes of Ruin will support online multiplayer, with drop-in/drop-out play, StreetPass for accessing the Traders Network, and real-time chatting via the built-in microphone.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning’s second DLC pack was announced today, Teeth of Naros. The 800 MS Point/$9.99 expansion will add a new location, the floating city of Idylla, and a race of giants known as the Kollossae, whose faith will be the focus of the new quest. Idylla will offer a wide variety of content, including over 20 side quests, five new dungeons, three new Twists of Fate, 18 new weapons, nine new armor sets, and a “mysterious” new race.
Disney Interactive is expanding their Epic Mickey line with Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion for the 3DS. Debuted in the latest Nintendo Power, Power of Illusion is said to offer “an interactive combination of painting, dual screen integration and 3D transformation capabilities” which will allow players “to create objects and even characters they can place in the world of Wasteland.” Players will be able to sketch out objects and have them morph into Disney-style illustrations. By moving the object to the top screen, they then transform the item into a colored, rendered 3D object to be used in-game.
