Konami has announced that Gaijin Entertainment’s latest flight sim, Birds of Steel, has shipped to retail for the 360 and PS3. Set during World War II, Birds of Steel features 20 missions set across 16 locations, with over 100 aircraft, including the P-51 Mustang and A6M Zero, changing weather, and time cycles. Some of the notable battles include the Battle of Midway and the Battle of the Coral Sea. Multiplayer is also supported, with co-op strike campaigns and a 17-player versus mode.
Birds of Steel carries a suggested price of $39.99 and should be on shelves shortly.
