Xbox Live members can now access the fourth, fifth, and sixth Content Drops for Call of Duty Elite’s first Content Season. The drops include a new multiplayer map, Black Box, plus the Black Ice and Negotiator missions for Special Ops.

Battlefield 3: Close Quarters in-game shots released

EA has released some new screenshots from the upcoming Battlefield 3 DLC Close Quarters. The infantry-centric pack will feature destructible environments, where everything from the furniture to the plaster is ready to explode into tiny bits, with teams struggling through rubble and debris. Close Quarters will also include four new maps, 10 new weapons, including the M417 sniper rifle and L86LSW machine gun, 10 new assignments, and five dog tags.

Silent Hill: Downpour now available for 360, PS3

It’s time to return to Silent Hill today with the release of Silent Hill: Downpour for the 360 and PS3. (Cue scratchy music and a crazy mutant that’s a reflection of your inner guilt.) The latest release has players taking on the role of convicted felon Murphy Pendleton, a man who awakens after a vehicle crash to find himself near the town of Silent Hill, “where mysterious locals welcome him into a slowly developing personal hell.”

First batch of in-game shots released for Sins of a Dark Age

Ironclad Games has released the first in-game shots from their upcoming free-to-play strategy/MOBA hybrid title, Sins of a Dark Age. Announced last month, today’s shots include some of the beasts of war, monsters, and human soldiers that players will have at their command.

inXile begins Wasteland 2 fan-funding Kickstarter project

Developer inXile is looking to Kickstarter to fund Wasteland 2. The follow-up, twenty years in the making (so to speak), will be to one of the most influential role-playing games ever released, and it will be up to fans to fund its development. inXile stated that Wasteland 2 will be true to the original, with a top-down perspective, turn-based design, and tactical combat. The game will feature moral dilemmas, and decisions which will require choosing the best of only bad options. The studio also wants to work closely with the Kickstarter backers, to ensure that the game created is the one that fans have been wanting.

Sega has set out to prove that not even the underworld is safe when the undead roam the lands in the newly released Yakuza: Dead Souls. The PlayStation 3 exclusive puts players in the sweet duds of Kazuma Kiryu, who makes his return to the series in a quest to find his kidnapped stepdaughter in the Kamurocho district during the outset of a zombie outbreak. He isn’t alone, though, as three friends join him in his search, playable characters Shun Akiyama, Ryuji Goda, and Goro Majima.
