Capcom has announced that a playable demo of their upcoming open-world action-RPG Dragon’s Dogma will be available on Live Marketplace and PSN before the game’s May 22 release. The demo will include a party of three Pawns tackling two encounters, each of which will serve to highlight a different character class.
As a Fighter, players will make their way through an underground labyrinth to square off against a chimera in a prologue quest. As a Strider, players will use bows and daggers to ward off griffins from the plains surrounding the capital of Gransys. It was also noted that players will be able to try out the character creation system and import both the main character and a Pawn ally from the demo into the retail version.
