The Vita is getting in on the brawling action early with the launch of Capcom’s Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The updated re-release includes the new on- and offline Heroes & Heralds mode, available today as a downloadable update; eight new stages; a tweaked fighting system; 12 new fighters (six for each side); and a six-player Spectator Mode. The Vita version also includes touch screen controls, a Near-only Gold Herald color option, and the ability to fight and share replays anywhere via wi-fi. Also, any DLC purchased for the PlayStation 3 version can be shared with the handheld version.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is on store shelves now for $39.99. For more information on UMC3, check out our review of the Xbox 360 version.
