After a devastating sandstorm, Dubai is in ruins, and Colonel John Konrad and The Damned 33rd battalion are missing. As Captain Martin Walker, it’s up to you to search through the ruins and battle back opportunistic invaders to save the Colonel and evacuees in 2K Games’ upcoming third-person shooter Spec Ops: The Line. The publisher announced today that the latest in the long-running series, in development at Yager, will be hitting store shelves on June 26 for the 360, PC, and PS3.
In addition to the single-player campaign, The Line will also include a class- and squad-based multiplayer component. For those wanting a head start on their opponents, pre-orders will receive a free upgrade to the Premium Edition, which includes a double-experience boost during the first week of play; the AK-47 weapon unlock at rank one; Office Class unlock at rank one, which offers reduced teammate damage and other benefits; and access to the FUBAR Pack, “unique and visually distinctive items” for greater character customization.
