Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the latest action-RPG from 38 Studios’ Big Huge Games, is now available for the 360, PC, and PS3. The creation of the open-world adventure was guided by author R.A. Salvatore and features the work of The Elder Scrolls alumnus Ken Rolston. As a newly revived hero, players must travel the regions of Amalur as a human or elf in search of allies as they unravel their destiny and grow powerful enough to put an end to the evil plaguing the lands.

EA also announced that launch copies will come with a one-time-use code for a DLC pack, the House of Valor. The pack includes seven exclusive quests following Grand Champion Tyr Magnus’ exploits in the Valor Arena as he sets about cutting down his rivals and taking control of the arena himself. Unique challenges and awards await those who survive the competition. For gamers who pick up a later release or secondhand copy of the game, House of Valor can be purchased for 800 MS Points/$9.99 on Live and PSN.
