As someone who remembers booting up Arena so many years ago, it’s amazing to see how far The Elder Scrolls series has come. The latest entry in the saga, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has shipped seven million units across all supported platforms (360, PC, and PS3) and is estimated by Bethesda to earn them “more than $450 million in global retail sales” based on launch copies alone. Over 50% of the launch stock was sold in the first 48 hours, and Skyrim recently set a Steam record with 280,000 active adventurers simultaneously tromping around the lands.

As Nick makes his way through the wilds, check out his reviews of some of The Elder Scrolls’ past offerings that we dusted off and brought out from the archives: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal, and The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon.
