If you’ve ever wanted to lay down an “Objection!” on Hawkeye, your time has come. Capcom’s beefed-up crossover fighter Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is now available for the 360 and PS3.
For $39.99, fighting fans get the original Marvel vs. Capcom 3 line-up plus 12 new characters, eight new stages, Spectator Mode, and numerous gameplay tweaks. The new characters include six fighters for each side. Capcom’s roster now hosts Firebrand, Phoenix Wright, Nemesis, Strider, and Vergil. Marvel’s crew finds itself joined by Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Iron Fist, and Nova.
An upcoming free DLC release was also announced, Heroes and Heralds. The team-based mode, available for play in single and multiplayer, pits a group of Heroes against Galactus’ Heralds, with characters being customizable via upgrade cards.
