To celebrate the launch of Gears of War 3′s Horde Command Pack, Epic Games and Microsoft have announced a free Versus Booster Map Pack set to hit Live Marketplace on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 24). The pack will include five maps, two from the original Gears of War and three from Horde Command Pack: Azura, Blood Drive, Clocktower, Rustlung, and Swamp.
Keen eyes will note that three of the maps listed are from the very same 800 MS Point Horde Command Pack released today. While those will indeed be available for free later this month, those who pick up Horde Command now will receive, in addition to early access to the maps, the rest of the pack, which includes fortification upgrades, playable characters (Bernie Mataki, Big Rig Dizzy, and the Onyx Guard), and the Team Plasma and Jungle Camo weapon skins.
