Michel Ancel, the creator of Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil, and Raving Rabbids, will be returning to the Rayman series next month with Rayman Origins. As the November 15 release date approaches, Ubisoft has sent along some new shots showing off the 2D side-scrolling action and four-player co-op, as well as a Q&A with game director Sebastien Morin. The Q&A reveals that the game will be comprised of five universes and 10 different worlds, as well as an extra world (Land of the Livid Dead) that will be “a bit hard to reach but is a whole new universe.” Each world will unlock an ability to continue onto the next, though any planet can be revisited as many times as the player wishes.
Rayman Origins will ship on November 15 for the 360, PS3, and Wii.
