Battlefield 3 a go, now available for 360, PC, and PS3

Battlefield 3 (360, PC, PS3) Launch Announcement - Screenshot 1After a very active public multiplayer beta, Battlefield 3 is ready for primetime. The DICE-developed squad-based shooter is now available for the 360, PC, and PS3. Sporting the Frostbite 2 engine, Battlefield 3 features destructible environments along with all of the jeeps, jets, tanks, and airplanes needed to turn the environments into piles of debris—okay, that might be going too far. Battlefield 3 also introduces the Battlelog, a social network service that double as a stat tracker.

Also available is a novel from Peter Grimsdale and Andy McNab, the ex-SAS operator behind Bravo Two Zero and a host of other books. McNab also worked with DICE “to ensure the authenticity of today’s warfare.”
