Battlefield 3 a go, now available for 360, PC, and PS3
After a very active public multiplayer beta, Battlefield 3 is ready for primetime. The DICE-developed squad-based shooter is now available for the 360, PC, and PS3. Sporting the Frostbite 2 engine, Battlefield 3 features destructible environments along with all of the jeeps, jets, tanks, and airplanes needed to turn the environments into piles of debris—okay, that might be going too far. Battlefield 3 also introduces the Battlelog, a social network service that double as a stat tracker.

Kinect Sports: Season Two now available for Kinect
Kinect Sports returns for another round today with Kinect Sports: Season Two. The collection features full-body motion and voice control with six events (football, baseball, skiing, golf, tennis, and darts), 17 new Challenge Play Activities, and an in-game calorie counter. Players can also issue challenges to friends over Live.

Dungeons – The Dark Lord gets free Halloween-themed DLC
Realmforge and Kalypso are celebrating Halloween the right way with free DLC for Dungeons – The Dark Lord. Starting today, Halloween-themed graphics will liter the dungeons while two new prestige gimmicks, a new Jack-o’-lantern spell, and an entirely new Halloween map will be added once the update is downloaded. Gamers wanting gold instead of candy loot can disable the themed goodies from the main menu.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Exterminatus DLC up for PC, PS3
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine’s free co-op mode Exterminatus is now available to download for the PC and PS3. Xbox gamers will be able to download it “soon.” Exterminatus will be accessible through the main menu and allow teams of four to squad up as a Space Marine Tactical Marine, Devastator, or Assault Marine. Players will be able to kit out their marine with a customized weapon and perk loadout as they take them through the two dynamic-challenge-filled scenarios, Assault on Hab Center Andreas and Escape From Kalkys Facility.

Stronghold 3 awaits your command, m’lord
The defense-oriented strategy series Stronghold continues its cow-catapulting ways today with the release of Stronghold 3. 7sixty and Firefly Studios’ follow-up to 2005′s Stronghold 2 allows players to build their own castles, train garrisons, and defend their holdings from waves of enemies. The Wolf returns for revenge after being defeated in Stronghold: Crusader, and he is bringing with him an army of old supporters and new allies.

Dance Central 2 ready to make you shake it, shake it
Harmonix’s Dance Central 2 is now available for Kinect. The follow-up to the million-seller Dance Central features voice commands, new multiplayer modes, including the versus Dance Battle mode, and over 40 new songs from such artists as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Montell Jordan. Break It Down has also been enhanced, with voice support and a customizable practice session.
