Sony Online’s PC and PSN squad-based first-person shooter Payday: The Heist has been slightly delayed. Originally scheduled to launch on October 4, Sony has announced that The Heist will now be released “later this month” – not too bad. Would-be Point Breakers can grab The Heist on release for $19.99.

Payday: The Heist is a squad-based, first-person shooter that allows players to take on the role of a hardened career criminal and engage in a number of high-risk heists. Players will rob banks, steal from drug dealers, pocket priceless diamonds, take hostages and hijack cars in a never-ending pursuit for criminal glory.
