Relic’s Warhammer: 40,000: Space Marine has shipped to retail for the 360, PC, and PS3. The third-person action title mixes melee and ranged combat as players take on the role of a hulking Space Marine sent to an Imperial Forge World to fend off an Ork invasion.

In additional to the single-player campaign, players will also be able to square off into two teams of eight in class-based multiplayer as a Space Marine or Chaos Space Marine. An upcoming free DLC pack will unlock the co-op mode Exterminatus early next month, where teams of four will complete dynamic challenges while fighting back waves of opponents. Both versus and co-op will utilize a progression and upgrade system that will allow players to unlock new weapons and perks for customized loadouts.

In addition to the standard release, a Collector’s Edition is also available, which includes a 10” Purity Seal, Art Book, Game Soundtrack, 25 foiled character cards, and a premium box for $99.99
