Dungeon Siege III – Treasures of the Sun DLC pack announced
Dungeon Siege III will be receiving a significant expansion this October with the Treasures of the Sun DLC pack. Treasures of the Sun adds a new plot arc, quests, abilities, enemies, loot, and location, the Aranoi Desert. Players will be able to respec their characters by reallocating Talent and Proficiency points, as well as take their adventurer beyond the previous level cap of 30 and up to 35. An enchanting system is also being added, in the form of transmuted items possibly turning into vials which can then be used to enhance other weapons and armor.

Red Dead Redemption gets free DLC, Myths & Mavericks Bonus Pack
Ever since the undead invaded the world of Red Dead Redemption, not much has been going on with Marston and company. A weapon pack or two, but nothing too wild. Well, for those who are still saddling up, Rockstar has some good news: free DLC. The Myths & Mavericks Bonus Pack, including new multiplayer locations and characters, will go up on Live Marketplace and PS Network on September 13.

Strategic Command: WW1 – v.1.03 patch, updated demo released
Some news on the BattleFront front—hah!—the developer has announced a new update for their recently enlarged WWI title Strategic Command: WW1 1914-1918 The Great War as well as a new demo. The v1.03 patch is an all-in-one download that includes all of the previous updates, such as the new WWII campaign, 1939 Storm over Europe, as well as bug fixes, a new rule that allows fighters to intercept paratroop drops, and up to 50% faster AI.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Five Days of 40k promo kicks off
With Relic’s action-shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine just around the corner (September 6), publisher THQ has announced a five-day contest in which different prize types will be given away each day until launch. The giveaways will take place on the game’s official Facebook page, with prizes ranging from merchandise to in-game content.
