Driver San Francisco multiplayer demo now available on Live, PSN

Driver San Francisco (360, PS3, Wii) MP Demo Launch Announcement - Screenshot 1Following last week’s launch of a single-player demo, Ubisoft has released a multiplayer demo for the 360 and PS3 versions of Driver San Francisco. The demo, now available on Live Marketplace and PSN, includes two six-player competitive modes: Tag and Trailblazer.

Driver San Francisco will be available next month for the 360, PS3, and Wii.

Tag – Up to six players compete to be the first to score 100 points. Points are awarded by holding the ‘tag.’ The match starts with the ‘tag’ being held by an AI vehicle. The ‘tag’ is passed between players by colliding with the ‘tag’ vehicle. The game mode has a time limit of 6 minutes. The player who reaches the 100 point score limit first, or has the highest score after 6 minutes have elapsed, wins the match.

Trailblazer – Up to six players compete to be the first to score 100 points. Points are earned by staying in the yellow trails of the AI controlled trailblazer car (highlighted in yellow) as it drives a pre-determined route through the city. Staying in the trails will turn them blue to indicate that the player is scoring. The game mode also has a time limit of 6 minutes. The player who reaches the 100 point score limit first, or has the highest score after 6 minutes have elapsed, wins the match.
