Call of Juarez: The Cartel now available for 360, PS3

Call of Juarez: The Cartel (360, PC, PS3) Launch Announcement - HeaderCall of Juarez: The Cartel has connived (and most probably shot) its way onto store shelves for the 360 and PS3. Developer Techland has taken the series into a new direction as a stylized modern-day Western. After a Mexican drug cartel bombs US law enforcement officers, a task force composed of LAPD, DEA, and FBI agents is put together to take on the cartel in an all-out war.

The fight will take the agents from Los Angeles to Ciudad Juarez. The single-player campaign, playable in co-op with up to three players, features raids, interrogations, car chases, and shootouts. Players will also engage in the co-opetition system, which mixes cooperation with versus play as they work together and against one another for loot and experience. There are also two multiplayer modes, Team Deathmatch (cops versus criminals) and Objective-based Mode (mission-based play), with support for up to 12 players.
