Activision is kicking off their Comic-Con 2011 festivities with several announcements, including the voice-over cast of their upcoming Spider-Man and X-Men titles and info on a panel featuring the man himself, Stan Lee.
Spider-Man: Edge of Time, penned by Peter David and starring both Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099, will feature Val Kilmer as Walker Sloan, Laura Vandervoort as Mary Jane, and Katee Sackhoff as the Black Cat. X-Men Destiny will feature the talents of Milo Ventimiglia as Grant Alexander, Jamie Chung as Aimi Yoshida, and Scott Porter as Adrian Luca, the three new mutants who must choose between being a force for good or evil. Both games will be playable at the company’s booth, 5445.
Attendees can also catch legend Stan Lee, writer Peter David, Beenox Studio Head Dee Brown, and others at the Activision Marvel Video Games Panel. The focus of the discussion will be on the latest adventures and the heroes’ roles in the upcoming games. The panel will take place on Saturday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m. in room 5AB.
Spider-Man: Edge of Time is being developed by Beenox for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Wii and Nintendo 3DS. Silicon Knights is developing X-Men Destiny for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 system and Wii. Both games are being developed by Other Ocean for Nintendo DS.
