OC ReMix is celebrating the 15th anniversary of Sega’s on-rail yet freeform racer Nights properly, and that’s with an album of remixed tracks. The groups 26th arrangement album, NiGHTS: Lucid Dreaming, features two discs of remixes done in a variety of styles, ranging from new jack swing to chiptune. In addition, there are two bonus karaoke instrumentals and a collaboration with vocals from nearly 30 fans. Album director Stevo Bortz also teamed up with Lynne Triplett and Niyazi Sonmez from NiGHTSintoDreams.com to bring over 30 pieces of art to spruce up the album case, one of which is being used as this post’s header—thumbs up, ‘Keiiii.’

There’s also an aside from OC HQ. Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu’s Facebook account has less followers than a fake one. To help rectify this Internet injustice—a reaction we shared, “Are you serious?!? :’-(“—the crew has decided to throw a contest, with the prize being a meeting with him or Final Fantasy music autographed by him. To enter, head over to Nobuo Uematsu’s official Facebook page, “Like” it, and then post in this OC ReMix forum thread for a chance to win. What to post? “Post anything you want, just make it about Final Fantasy, Nobuo Uematsu, Distant Worlds, OC ReMix, or the fact that you’re in it to win it!” Godspeed, readers!
