Zen Studios kicks off Spider-Man table tournament for Pinball FX2
Zen Studios has launched a high score tournament for the Spider-Man table within the Marvel Pinball set for Pinball FX2. The top three scores will win a Marvel Digital Comics Subscription, a Spider-Man Bass Skyline tee from MightyFine, and 4,000 MS Points. The second and third place prize packs include a digital subscription, Spider-Man Bass Skyline tee, and 1,600 MS Points. Random players will also receive prizes throughout the tournament window, which runs from July 29 through August 12. To participate, simply complete a game of Spider-Man on Pinball FX2.

Double Dragon for iOS gets an update
Aksys Games’ iOS beat’em up Double Dragon has received a free update today. The Brizo Interactive-developed port is now compatible with pre-4.0 versions of iOS and features improved CPU and memory consumption, revised in-game text, optional transparency effect for the control panel, and an expanded hit box for the whip.

From Dust now available on Live Arcade
Ubisoft has released their latest God game from Eric Chahi and Ubisoft Montpellier, From Dust. Available on Live Arcade for 1200 MS Points, From Dust allows players to control a power known as The Breath, which is used by a primitive tribe to survive the wilds of nature. The villagers must be protected from an array of natural disasters as they make their way throughout the world, including like tsunamis and volcanoes. In addition to the main campaign is a Challenge mode, which will have players “using their god-like powers in creative ways to ensure the safety of the inhabitants.”

Brink – Agents of Change DLC detail, screens released
Bethesda has announced that Brink’s first post-launch DLC pack, Agents of Change, will be a free download for the first two weeks. Set to be released on Live, PSN, and Steam on August 3, Agents of Change will increase the level cap to 24 and add new outfits, abilities, weapon attachments, and maps.

Call of Duty: Black Ops – Annihilation DLC released for PC, PS3
Annihilation, the latest round of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops, is now available for PC and PS3. The $14.99 pack includes five new multiplayer maps—four for the base game and one for Zombie mode—as well as a new zombie type.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, Resident Evil 4 HD rereleases get launch date, price
Capcom has announced the launch dates of two upcoming Resident Evil HD rereleases. Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, originally released for the Dreamcast, will be available on September 27, and the series-changing Resident Evil 4 will launch on September 20. Both will be available for Live Games on Demand and PSN for 1600 MS Points/$19.99.

No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise demo now on PSN
A new demo for No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise has launched on PSN. The upcoming PS3-exclusive revamped port of the original, set to hit store shelves August 16, will feature updated visuals and support for the PS Move. The demo offers a chance for players to check out the new look as well as try out Travis’ beam katana using the Move setup.
