What better way is there to celebrate 25 years than with a little Might & Magic? Starting today, everyone who has preordered Might & Magic Heroes 6 now has access to the beta. The beta includes maps from the single-player campaign as well as one for multiplayer, plus a sample of the integrated online feature, The Conflux.
The single-player maps are from the tutorial campaign, featuring Haven and Orc units, as well as the Sanctuary campaign. The included multiplayer map is a legacy map from 1996′s Heroes of Might and Magic II, Broken Alliance. Players will get to square off against three computer opponents using several of the new factions, including Inferno, Necropolis, and Stronghold. Lastly, a few features of the new online integration tool dubbed The Conflux will also be available, which allows for the creation and sharing of online profiles, hero customization with special dynasty weapons and traits, and access to the Altar of Wishes for extra bonuses.
Might & Magic Heroes 6 is set to ship for PC on September 6.
