Captain America table now available for Marvel Pinball, Pinball FX2
Does anyone else remember the Captain America and The Avengers beat ‘em up from back in the early 1990s? If you do, then you get an extra treat with the latest announcement out of Zen Studios that the Captain America table is now available for Marvel Pinball on both Live Arcade and PSN. Tor announces Halo: Grasslands, first in new trilogy
Science-fiction publisher Tor Books has revealed the title and cover for the first of their next Halo trilogy, Halo: Grasslands. Author Karen Traviss has dabbled in the Halo universe before with a short story in Halo: Evolutions, Human Weakness. The upcoming trilogy will continue the story of the characters from Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, exploring their role in the events following Halo 3.

Call of Duty XP 2011 announced – MW3 multi, tournaments, and more
Few game franchises can swing their own convention. Then again, few franchises are Call of Duty. Call of Duty XP 2011 will host 6,000-plus fanatics on Labor Day weekend in Los Angeles, California, offering them the chance to be the first to play Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer’s Spec Ops survival co-op mode, try out the new Elite online service, attend discussion panels and Q&A sessions with the developers, check out an onsite armory and museum, paintball on a life-sized multiplayer map, and participate in an actual speed-run of Modern Warfare 2′s The Pit. A $1 million tournament will also take place for Black Ops, with qualifying taking place through regional promotions and competitions, as well as at the event via “select, on-site/at-large qualifications.”

Call of Juarez: The Cartel gets a new round of shots
A new round of Call of Juarez: The Cartel screenshots were released today, this time showing off both single and multiplayer modes. The Cartel features a modern Wild West theme and a single-player story that transports players from Los Angeles, California to Juarez, Mexico, as well as six-versus-six “coopetition” multiplayer.

Dead Block release date, price announced
Digital Reality has sent word that Dead Block, Candygun Games’ upcoming ‘zombie defense game,’ will be going for the head next month when it launches for the 360 and PS3. Set to release on Live Arcade on July 6 and PS Network on July 20, the undead action is said to be a “campy and humor-filled title that mixes zombie killing with tactical defense strategies.” Players are taken back to the 1950s shortly after a zombie apocalypse as one of three survivors: Boy Scout Mike Bacon, construction worker Jack Foster, and meter maid Foxy Jones. Each must fortify an area against waves of zombie hordes, utilizing special attacks as well as unlockable weapons and traps. Drop-in/drop-out play will also be supported so that up to four players can co-op the undead to redeath.
