The Witcher 2 – Patch 1.1 released, DRM gone, DLC fixed, frame rate upped, and more

CD Projekt RED has announced details of the recently released 1.1 patch for The Witcher 2. The update includes a host of fixes, as well as the removal of the DRM protection, which will allow players “to install and play the game on any number of computers” with no activation code required. Available at thewitcher.com (the patch will not download via the auto-patching system from the launcher), players can also expect an improvement in the frame rate (up to 30%), increased stability, easier installation of DLC, the ability to invert the mouse, and the ability to re-map direction controls on the keyboard. In addition, the first free DLC pack, Troll Trouble quest, is included in the patch.
