The Ghost Recon series recently took a turn-based strategy turn on the 3DS, and now it appears to be heading down the online free-to-play route on the PC. Titled Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online, the Ubisoft Singapore-developed cover-based, tactical third-person shooter will be free to play but feature premium items for those wanting a more customized experience. Gamers eager to link up with fellow ghosts should keep an eye out for the closed beta that is set to begin this summer.
