T3 now giving out Closed Beta keys for Hellgate
Closed Beta keys are now available for the T3 Entertainment Hellgate rerelease, which features the original game as well as the Tokyo expansion. Gamers looking to get in on the action, set to kick off on June 3 and end on June 5, will have to act quickly as keys are running out. Interested adventurers can head to the official site for details on how to apply for a key.

PSP titles hitting the PS3 as part of Remaster series
Sony has announced that the PS3 will be receiving a new PSP Remaster series of titles, which will be “PSP titles customized and developed specifically for the PS3 computer entertainment system.” The series will kick off in Japan with Capcom’s Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. A hit in Japan, with over 4.5 million copies sold since December, the PS3 version will benefit from a host of improvements that will span across all of the Remaster titles: enhanced graphics for larger displays, SixAxis and DualShock 3 support, and cross-platform save game support. Some titles will also include additional add-on content, stereoscopic 3D support, and ad-hoc mode support via “adhoc party for PlayStation Portable.”

Trenched video developer diary kicks off
It’s rough business in the trenches. Whether it is gangrene, bloated corpses, or sentient robots birthed by television and insanity, there’s always some sort of unpleasantness to deal with. To inform gamers of how they’ll face the Monovision menace, developer Double Fine has launched a video developer diary for their upcoming Live Arcade title Trenched. The newest video covers the title’s origins, and some pretty nice scenery.
