Virtua Tennis 4 has volleyed (15 for a tennis reference—oh, better make that 30) its way onto the 360, PS3, and Wii today. The latest release in the long-running series was developed by the original developers and features support for all of the latest motion-based peripherals—PlayStation Move, Wii MotionPlus, and Kinect—as well as 3D technology. Juan Martín Del Potro, Fernando Gonzalez, and five other new pros have been added to the lineup, which includes such luminaries as Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Roger Federer. A new World Tour career has been beefed up with new off-court decisions, and a new Online Mode will include tournaments and other modes for casual and competitive players.
Virtua Tennis 4 is also selling for a bit less than normal, with the 360 and PS3 versions running $49.99 and the Wii version $39.99. PS3 owners will also receive a few extras, including the mini-games Pin Crusher and Net Blitz, as well as players Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg and Pat Rafter.
