White Knight Chronicles II showing off the goods in new screenshots
In anticipation of White Knight Chronicles II’s impending August release, D3Publisher has released a few new shots of Level-5′s latest. In addition to featuring the original White Knight Chronicles: International Edition, the sequel will include over 400 new pieces of weapons and armor, new spells, new abilities (dash attacks, dual wield, charge attacks), the ability to create and customize an Incorruptus, and a new online mode with support for up to six players.

Of Orcs and Men announced, screenshots released
Focus Home Interactive has sent along some new shots of Cyanide Studio and Spiders’ upcoming 360, PC, and PS3 role-playing game Of Orcs and Men. The spring 2012 release pits Orcs and Goblins against the increasingly oppressive and expansionistic Empire of Men.

X Rebirth set to hit PC later this year
Egosoft is set to expand the X Universe later this year with X Rebirth. Scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter for the PC, Rebirth will introduce a new duo who are out to make their riches in a battered ship amidst a dangerous galaxy filled with new and old enemies alike.

Sony announces PS Network service restoration, new security measures, “Welcome Back” reward program
Sony has announced that they will begin a region-based phased restoration shortly of PlayStation Network and Qriocity services. The process will begin with the return of gaming, music, and video services. Network security is also going to be improved, and a new customer appreciation program was also announced so that Sony can “thank its customers for their patience and loyalty.”
