Pinball FX2 – Mars table tournament announced
Zen Studios is injecting some excitement into the Pinball FX2 community with a new tournament for the recently released Mars table. Winners will receive a SuperScoreRocketBoost and Martian-themed prizes. The tournament begins tomorrow, April 29, and ends on May 13. Prizes will be awarded to the top three scores and to random entrees, and will include Mars candy bars, DVDs, and game codes.

Dungeon Siege III – digital prequel comic series launches
Dark Horse has released the first of three Dungeon Siege comics. The digital series serves as a prequel to the upcoming 360, PC, and PS3 role-playing game from Square Enix and Obsidian. Gamers looking to dig into the lore can delve deeper into the backstories of three of the four playable characters, with the fourth being the focus of a pack-in comic. The weekly series features writing by Jeremy Barlow (Star Wars: Rebellion) and art from Iban Coello (Iron Man: Iron Protocols) and Sergio Abad (Transformers: Prime).

High Flyer Death Defyer gets gussied up, shares the goods
Game Mechanic Studios has released some new shots of their upcoming iOS and Android title, High Flyer Death Defyer. Scheduled for release this summer, High Flyer is described as an ‘avoider-style’ action title in which players must avoid contact with the world as they free fall through floating cities. As rebel John Doe, players will also have to be on the look out for the forces of the Office of Aerospace Security as they explore the independent outer sky cities.

Cave Story 3D screens released, release date announced
The eagerly anticipated—well, around these parts anyway—Cave Story 3D has been officially dated. The freeware PC hit that went on to hook Wii gamers with its perfectly paced side-scrolling action is slated to launch for the 3DS on August 9. In addition to the revamped visuals, Cave Story 3D will also sport a remixed soundtrack.
