iPad owners looking to get in on the Final Fantasy III action that iPhone and iPod touch owners have been enjoying since last month are in luck as the iPad version has just had its worldwide release.
Released in 1990, Final Fantasy III, the very first in the series to sell over a million units, centers on the battle between light and dark and the journey of one Luneth. Players will guide Luneth and his three compatriots as they go on a quest to track down the remaining powerful sentient crystals that are used to combat the forces of darkness. The iPad version, going for $16.99, has had its visuals and controls tweaked to better take advantage of the system’s hardware.
