Petroglyph Games (Panzer General: Allied Assault, Universe at War: Earth Assault) has revealed Rise of Immortals, a new free-to-play Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) title for the PC.
Set 300 years after Petroglyph’s Guardians of Graxia, players will take part in a grand battle between 12 Immortals as they increase their own Immortal’s power and abilities via a persistent skill tree. Featuring both Player versus Environment and five-on-five Player versus Player combat, players can also look forward tackling scenarios, collecting pets for use in combat, as well as engaging with other Immortals and shopping in a social hub.
The eager and curious can now sign up (here: http://www.riseofimmortals.com) for a chance to get into the upcoming closed beta test. The beta will expand over the next few weeks, with the final version set for release this spring.
Rise of Immortals is a free-to-play, micro-transaction-based online game that will be available via direct download. The game will launch with a dozen distinctive Immortals that players can further customize as they progress through the game. Items that can be purchased from the in-game store include new Immortal skins and consumable items like in-game boosters and elixirs. Post-launch, Petroglyph plans to release new content on a regular basis, including additional Immortals, arenas, skins, sound packs, pets and more.
