Duke Nukem Forever is now available for preorder – again. With the alienpocalypse hitting this May, eager fans can put their fiver down on the standard edition or, for the more adventurous, the Balls of Steel edition. GameStop is offering some extra goodies for both versions and all systems in the form of Duke’s Big Package, which includes several exclusive in-game unlocks: EGO boost, Big Head Mode, and T-Shirt pack.

Painkiller – Redemption, the latest expansion in the expanding Painkiller franchise, has been dated for a February 25 release. Xbox Live Games On Demand gets two from Sega, Aliens vs. Predator and Bayonetta

Sega tossed in two to the Xbox Live Games On Demand lot today with the announcement that Aliens vs. Predator has launched on the service for $29.99, and that Bayonetta will be joining it next week, on February 22.

DJ Hero 2 – Pendulum Mix Pack released

DJ Hero 2′s library is getting a boost today with a new mix pack from Pendulum. Would-be DJs can try their hand at mixing three tracks off the group’s latest album, Immersion. For 640 MS Points / $7.99, players get “Watercolour,” “Set Me On Fire,” and “Salt In The Wounds.” Each track is also available as a downloadable single on the Wii for 300 Wii Points apiece.

Total War: Shogun 2 demo announced

With Total War: Shogun 2′s March 15 release date quickly approaching, Sega has announced that Creative Assembly’s latest will be receiving a pre-release demo via Steam next week, on February 22. The demo will allow players to try out the new campaign map and take part in a few land battles, though no specifics were given.
