Company of Heroes Online enters Open Beta

Company of Heroes Online, an online-only free-to-play take on the franchise from series’ creators Relic, has entered Open Beta. For those who register by September 8, an exclusive in-game content package that includes 3,000 free supply points, 500 experience points, a free hero unit, and a free army item will be given out as an early adopter reward.

The Open Beta features the Allies and Axis with three different divisions each, for different styles of play, as well as 17 different multiplayer maps, split between 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 modes. Developed by THQ’s Relic Entertainment studio, creators of the award-winning Company of Heroes and Dawn of War franchises, Company of Heroes Online is an online multiplayer Real-Time-Strategy game that is free to download and play.  Building on the frenetic Real-Time-Strategy action of the original Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes Online offers army specialization, commander customization, and persistent progression.
